Dr. Mark first wanted to become a dentist because he really enjoys helping people get out of pain, as well as improving their self-esteem by transforming their smiles. The most important priority for Dr. Mark is providing outstanding care to his patients, no matter what time of day or night, and he has been known to work many extra hours to provide this care. Dr. Mark is also very active in his local community. When Dr. Mark is not at his kids’practices or games, he enjoys running, and pursuing another passion, his culinary skills. Dr. Mark says that watching The Food Channel, or cooking for others is one of his favorite ways to relax.
Dr. Barbara Gipple
Dr. Barb Gipple has been practicing dentistry since 1989. She originally grew up right here in Southeast Iowa and graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 1989. Dr. Gipple first became interested in dentistry because she wanted to work in the health care field, liked to work with her hands, and was looking for a way to use her art degree. Dentistry allowed her to incorporate all of these interests in caring for her patients, and she especially enjoys the esthetic aspect of dentistry. Barb is married to her husband Randy and stays busy outside the office with her 18 year old twins. She loves to garden and to travel, and she typically serves on at least one international mission trip each year. Dr. Gipple’s patient care philosophy primarily stems from treating each patient as if they were a member of her own family.
Dr. Jonathan Dingeldein
Dr. Jon Dingeldein has been practicing dentistry since 2012. Having lived much of his life in Indiana, Dr. Dingeldein graduated from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2012 and worked in Illinois before joining the practice in 2015. Jon and his wife Julie have two boys and a girl, with a fourth child on the way. Dr. Dingeldein’s hobbies include anything athletic and outdoors. Bicycling and competing in triathlons keep him busy in between trying to keep up with his kids. Dr. Dingeldein became interested in dentistry because he loved people and loves to work with his hands. An utter perfectionist, Dr. Dingeldein is passionate about providing his patients with the highest level of care, and seeks to constantly stay up to date with the latest treatments and continuing education to provide his patients with such care. Dr. Dingeldein most enjoys esthetics, oral surgery, and implant dentistry. Dr. Dingeldein says “I hate hearing about patients who have had dental horror stories, and while certainly not perfect, I want to do everything I possibly can to give my patients as relaxing an appointment as possible. I really want my patients to look forward to their visit to our office.”
Dr. Lowell Long
Dr. Lowell Long was born and raised in Iowa and has been practicing dentistry since he graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 1988. Dr. Long says he was initially drawn to the dental field because he knew he wanted to work with people and work in the health care field. What Dr. Long most enjoys about dentistry is the opportunity to provide his patients with good dental care as painlessly as possible. Dr. Long and his wife have two grown children and five energetic grandchildren that they enjoy spending time with as often as possible. When away from the dental office, Dr. Long can often be found reading, coin collecting, or watching Iowa sports.
Dr. Ronald Stein
